The washer fluid reservoir is located in the left-hand front corner of the engine compartment with the bulk of the unit below the wheel arch. The reservoir supplies both the windscreen and tailgate jets. On some models a headlight washer system is installed with the reservoir in the right-hand front corner of the engine compartment.

The washer jets are adjustable by inserting a pin into their nozzles and moving them to give an acceptable pattern on the glass.

The use of a good quality screen wash product is recommended. In winter add some methylated spirit to the fluid to prevent freezing. Never use cooling system antifreeze as it will damage the paintwork.
